HELLO,

I’m Esther Griffin.

FOUNDER & HOST, THE WIVES COLLECTIVE

THANKS SO MUCH FOR VISITING THE WIVES COLLECTIVE. I’M GLAD YOU’RE HERE!

So here’s a little about me. I am a wife, mother, and Cyber Security Engineer. I am married to the sweetest and most unbothered man you may ever meet. We have lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for a couple of years and, thus far, have loved it.

Before I became a mother and a wife, I was a normal single girl with my own life just like everyone else (#Iamstillnormal). I was born and raised in the DMV area #PGCounty and got my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the illustrious Morgan State University. In my free time, I love dressing up and going out with my friends (sometimes I gots to leave the boys at home for the night!), traveling the world and doing spontaneous things that lead to lasting memories. But enough about me, let’s talk about what brought you here: The Wives Collective.

The vision for TWC came about in 2017 when God placed it on my heart to create a space for discussion around what it means to be a Wife with other women. At this point, I had already been married for about a year and knew I needed to learn as much as possible to gain perspective during the times when I needed it most. To that end, I am passionate about meaningful conversations and pursuing intentionally sisterhood.

So, what are you waiting for? Let’s talk!

ABOUT THE WIVES COLLECTIVE.

The Wives Collective was birthed out of my passion for helping other women build meaningful relationships between friends, spouses, and beyond. I wanted to create a safe space to have those conversations that can only produce candid relationships. I wanted to start the wives collective because I felt there was a lack of vulnerability and transparency when it came to marriage. It all seems so mysterious. When you would ask any woman about marriage, she wouldn’t necessarily give you the full deets and in my opinion, something is wrong with that. So I made it my mission to fix that. I’m not on a mission to interview every woman on “What it means to be a Wife?”, but instead ask more deeper questions, like “What difficulty were they experiencing?, Is marriage worth it, Should God be the center?” and everything in between. The Wives Collective is a safe space dedicated to helping the everyday woman foster and promote healthy marriages.
